Modern Wing at the Art Institute of Chicago

The Art Institute of Chicago’s Renzo Piano-designed Modern Wing opens this month and I cannot wait to see it. Walls of windows overlook the Chicago skyline and a 620-foot pedestrian bridge leads to Millennium Park, another favorite.

While entrance fees to the museum are going up post-opening, I hear admission is free May 16-22 in honor of the new wing. Time to plan a trip!
